Microwave Ovens And Canker Sores

Performance Art, analagous to Live art, is a nontraditional art form that consists of or features a performance by the artist "At the cutting edge of ideas and expression, live art is a rejection of single art form practice and a challenge to received ways of seeing, thinking and doing. Live art poses questions of not only what art is and can be, but where it is and what it is doing there."

What Are These Flat White Spots On My Skin?

Motivations for this project ...

Texto leído en conferencia de Prensa

The art of action as we emerged from the multidisciplinary and the term "discipline" from the 50 `s with the Dadaist manifestations that managed to revolutionize the world of conceptual art, and many are the precursors that accompany us on the list of performance artists who have left their mark in Europe, Asia, United States, Latin America and the Caribbean, Central America, curiously the phenomenon is still and the artists who top the list of performativity in our isthmus is very low.
As I emerged the great need to initiate a thorough investigation regarding the theoretical, conceptual and phenomenological this branch of art, and also begin a dialogue, exchanges and workshops that allow me to learn more about the subject and share that knowledge with other artists, art students or simply people who for one reason or another are attracted to the performance by either personal need by morbid curiosity, to experience something different or out of curiosity.

While not all are inclined to the art of performance, but I say with certainty that there are a number of emerging artists in the country with great concerns, ideas and energy necessary to become future national performance artists and international.
As the proposal entitled "First Call Action National Arts, El Salvador 2009 "is intended by the invitation and the group of artists with concerns focused on" action "group, attract, create, revolutionize the ways in which art is made in our country and time encouraging that there is a runtime environment and consumption of performance by the performer and the viewer constantly on El Salvador.

The Art Call for Action also addresses the needs conceptual and practical action to separate art from other languages \u200b\u200bof visual art and make it to be considered and treated under ethical and philosophical principles and execution-display formats Specific, they prove their essential characteristic form and content, and therefore the complex nature of implementation and dialogue with the viewer (since we are dealing with a language that fits the format of life itself) and deserves consideration dynamic, organic very particular, so peculiar as that is given two-dimensional format of the national art familiar with the Drawing Room, or the festival D: EsculturaEscultura or Esfoto annual photography festival held every year and cooling the eyes of artists, galleries and spectators Salvadorans.

So the First National Call for Action The Arts Salvador 2009, intends to enroll in the annual calendar of national and international art scene, and make room for the performance year after year from their multiple perspectives and ways to be wrought.

Only dialogue and exchange allows artists to grow and evolve, if the artist is a barometer of our society changes its mechanism of making art, the viewer who is the artist thermometer also change their way of looking at art and hence perceive life. Alexia Miranda

Can I Use Any Car Charger With My Eris

Deep Space Station Cebreros

ago a couple of years, the European Space Agency installed in Cebreros, a town of Avila, a huge 35-meter in diameter, to communicate with the various spacecraft that now ply our solar system. They were also kind enough to install a webcam on site, focused on the antenna. Recently, I had my computer is downloading from the webcam image every 30 seconds, for almost 26 hours. The result was a 2800 performance of sequential images of the antenna, and just enough to put them in video form. Suddenly we can enjoy the performance of the antenna of a fascinating way.

This is the website dedicated to ESA's Cebreros station: http://www.esa.int/SPECIALS/Operations/SEMVSDSMTWE_0.html In the menu on the right is a link to the webcam.
wikipedia page on the antenna:

http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Estación_de_Seguimiento_de_Satélites_de_Espacio_Profundo_de_Cebreros
The main task of the antenna is communicating with the spacecraft Venus Express

, so we can deduce with some certainty that the day period in which the antenna always points to the same place in the sky, corresponding to the communications with the Venus Express. The other communication is difficult to know which correspond mission.

Perceptions of Action Week Art

by: Bayardo Blandino

Like any good spectator media can not stop thinking about the adage that first impressions count. This is perhaps one of the most common sayings to associate the impressions that caused me to receive images of the electronic album, live art-especially when they have passed through my computer as referent to regain some of the ideas originated in the operations of discussion group we held with Camila Sol, Alex Miranda and Kamen Nevedas in the Cultural Center of Spain CCESV after having interacted with the group of selected artists, guest artists and organizing entities.

Under these considerations underline the importance raised the first call in the artistic context of El Salvador, at a time when the mobility of the artistic practices of performance regains its position regionally systematic in our institutional agendas and outside of them.

From this perspective, the impact of live art in its context has been the creation of a comprehensive laboratory processual characteristics for staging of the performance practices that will help gradually to build the recognition capabilities Salvadoran stage for your speech, movement and performance pedagogy within the different spectra social and political as part of its public sphere.

Another relevant aspect to be considered during the development of this project has been the breakdown of the interdisciplinary aspects which contributed to the movement of experimental approaches in institutional contexts of extreme insecurity for subsequent insertion at your local art scene, thereby settling the processes of subversion that can be achieved through the practice of performance in areas traditionally confined to silence.

Moreover, this event seen from the experiences of the spectators who attended the shows the results of the call, highlight the fact the thematic balance of the performances presented. The horizontal relationship between the proposals of the experienced and the emerging pattern allowed us to take processes and conceptual devices operated in the proper execution of the performance, as well as narrative and aesthetic resources that provided most of the proposals for mediation with the context and our dialogue.

For this reason, consider the fact aim to stress the importance of the existence of these micro scenarios because they are mostly images generators like the album e-Art of Action-continue holding events in our perceptions of humanization, introspection and meditation on each of the performances presented therein. Art of Action, has been an experience of experiences, encounters and future expectations. It was also the site of hybridity and transience that any project in the beginning to bring and postpone it. With the public this project is a first outline of a number searches for a better space of convergence between artists, art, performance art and its viewers.

"The Power of One Body 1"

Catalog Text for

A high, some low, thick, thin, curly hair or straight, with light or dark complexion, small eyes or protruding appropriate, some with implants, with their different attributes and their respective genres. Everyone has a body, the container that serves as a medium, which allows modifications, which we use without giving it the importance it deserves, without knowing the power it has, and it is our physical body as well, is political, is medium, and art.

to the Art of Action is the body all at once: concept, work, process, practice, feedback, document2. During the days of workshops with the artists selected and invited to the First Call for Action Art in Salvador share experiences and reflect on the body, analyzing the work of artists who have used it as a means either directly or indirectly; means of other, technology, and even the written word. This mutual learning meeting that the workshop participants proposed some practical and theoretical exercises, but most of all in which we take the time to discuss proposals presented in this first meeting and together open new possibilities to be presented to the public.

The initiative of the artist Alexia Miranda to meet together to serve as triggers in what might be called the first steps of live art in El Salvador, to be part of the process in which both recognized artists in other media and that even in training can see the performance as a further means of artistic expression. All the artists invited to this call to emphasize that we agree on visual artists and as such we use the means which would lead to a good end the idea that we had so; installation, object, painting, video, performance, etc. is important to emphasize that performance art is a tool in the artistic work, and as such should have a listing in the art circuit of our countries.

in our countries there is still resistance to this medium, a little much for deciding ignorance, and the ephemeral nature of performance suggests even some conflicts. The performance is a resistance line, reminds us of our physical limits, biological and psychological, at the same time confronts us with the strength and power of our container par excellence, and to feel, to reinvent the body in the contemporary world we live in virtual is his greatest achievement. The body resists not absent, and even served to reaffirm technologies.

In this sense we can say that both the works of those selected as the artists who were invited, besides the economy of elements, the cleanliness of your execution of one or another way they use technology to perform either with chemical, electrical objects, interfaces, laptops, etc.. Yet the body remains the hero, he who seeks his identity, he presented a concrete way that violence is a victim, he shows a fight with his inner self, he patiently tells us about making this go away, he who Clean your past to leave the prison that has been imposed, he who seeks to balance the duality between the two genders, one day cease to be a body and become a corpse.

Each of the artists speak of the body in its own way, each of the spectators saw the body to yours. The first call for live art in El Salvador to meet its objectives, encourage dialogue, generate interest in other artistic medium, raising Salvadoran viewer showing different reception parameters and perception. We hope that the Cultural Center of Spain who was the institution that provided the venue for this meeting, and MUA, Hybridarprojects, promocultura, a second call will echo and if other institutions to support this way of making art, we hope that these meetings are still generated, we congratulate all involved in it, I want to thank especially to Marta Garcia Kamen Nevev and Issa Estrada who served as production support for the submission of proposals.

In conclusion I would like to echo the words that conclude the action "How to Make an Aboriginal" by Kamen Nevev "... there is only one final, no origin." We hope the upcoming Art of Action calls on the Savior.
