Roca, Tamariu
Today we went diving with the club and the people of Barracuda Dive Center of Llafranc Montiell Roca, directly opposite the beach of Tamariu.
It was a cool out, this "rock" really is a pile of rocks between 12 and 25 feet, very funny. There were many gaps between the rocks, small cliffs, and many lives: many fish, scorpion, octopus, and full of starfish.
addition, immersion has been very quiet, because there was no current, the sea was like a plate, very good temperature, and quite visible.
The Lowdown has put Pau, who has made the gesture of leave me your weight belt, since I had rented was broken. Elhanan kept their leads in the pockets of his jacket and go. Thanks Pau!

Another post criticizing ... Is that they are worth what they are crappy.
I tried to change the home page of java.net to get something similar to that of soureforge , and what I got was something monstrous.
appeared in the central half-frame model (the css failed) appeared embedded page ... Not even have a hosting to upload your own web pages! You have to deal with that terribly uncomfortable and useless left menu!
The difference is also how we have addressed this page: On sourceforge you shell access to a machine (shell.sourceforge.net), and there you can copy your pages to the apache directory where you belong. In java.net you have to climb a svn. I have nothing against this second option, however the large difference in sourceforge, is that access ssh to the machine you can program to automate tasks crons! Since the construction of builds, journals content, manage the content of your page ...
Ultimately, java.net is a mess.

always been told I have bad taste in the choice of designs, colors ... I guess my blindness has something to do. Anyway I have started to work with home (click here ).
I downloaded a template from a free templates website , and I found interesting design. The creators certainly are http://www.nodethirtythree.com. Thanks.
Well, what you think? Feedback, improvements ...

NexOpen NexOpen SourceForge Nexopen
Finally we have approved the project on SourceForge , here's the link .
And thank goodness! Java.net is a fairly cumbersome, very basic, with a very intuitive navigation, little help ... Although it has the support of Sun, there seems to be at the height of its other major competitors: SourceForge, Apache and Codehaus. The latter is the best of all, because in addition to traditional services, offers a repository Jira and Confluence wiki based on the pati. However
is quite difficult to accept your project in Codehaus, on its website warning that projects mainly accept the recommendation or the reputation of the user ... Anyway.
Anyway we hire a hosting to bring us a Jira the Confluence and Continuum.
'll keep reporting ...

What is Nexopen code? Nexopen
A quick post without wanting to be very precise just to complete the previous that said that we published as open source NexOpen ... But what is NexOpen ?
NexOpen is a J2EE framework based on Spring 2.0.x J2EE 1.4 to develop applications for high availability, highly scalable and clustered.
NexOpen created with the aim of facilitating the development of these J2EE applications. J2EE framework is the development of business applications more powerful and complete market, however, very complex to use correctly.
NexOpen The idea is to simplify and encapsulate these complexities, allowing you to use the most powerful components (EJBs, JMS, MBeans ...) in a simple manner.
NexOpen uses a lot of java annotations (standard and proprietary) to avoid repeating a lot of programming and configuration. In addition NexOpen offers tools, wizards and plugins for eclipse (actually a full distribution of Eclipse) to avoid the costly and tedious developer jobs, thereby reducing errors and increasing productivity.
Furthermore, NexOpen integrates with other popular components like jBPM and Oracle FGA , runs on JBoss 4.0.x Bea Weblogic 9.2 the usual Struts, Spring, XFire, Hibernate .. .
Finally, NexOpen not intended to be exclusively a tool for development, but seeks to promote the quality of development, emphasizing best practices, using design patterns and JSRs, and relying on tools such as Maven 2, Continuum , jProfiler , Jira, Confluence ...

Finally, after many months of work, I can announce to the world that Nexopen is a public source project, under Apache License v2.0 !
finally accepted in java.net open up the project, and there we are. Look at the url nexopen !
There is much to be done, but the first step, the most important and what we have. NexTReT today launched its press release, so we have their official support to move forward with the idea.
have not yet uploaded or code, no published documentation, or home ... It's all done. Right now we are recruiting the core team, these are:

Francisco, the architect and guiding mind of the framework of which I have spoken earlier, tried to upload the project on java.net, as he had previous experience with another project ( DWRha ) with Marc, and were very well.
However, this time they've gone completely the project, so we decided to post it on SourceForge. Today I made the request, and it is assumed that by Thursday I will confirm if they accept the project or not. I personally
java.net I think hosting sucks. You must be registered to access the projects, and services they offer are limited. However, SourceForge has an interesting range of services, such as automatic creation of releases (night builds).
So that, next week and I may publish your company press release officially announcing the project, and I'm here and can speak freely.

Cutting Vest For Dogs
wanted insist on the need to unify the way we work within a company, community ... I mean, everyone should use Windows or Linux , or Word, openOfficem, Messenger or Outlook. In that respect, I advocate open standards, the ODF, for each person to choose the tool that is most comfortable.
I mean the form of a project, how to encode, and above all, how to manage it.
The first pillar of the project, the schedule should be made following design patterns. The patterns are theoretical use cases, independent of programming language that solve problems common to all applications. For example, the most common and easy to understand are the standard 3-layer, or for a website, using a MVC, and data access, use or Persistence DAOs Managers (the latter is more convenient, because it requires less code and avoid the temptation to DAO / BO oriented tables)
Often these patterns easily jump to us, especially when a person does not have much experience or knowledge in the area, does not understand its usefulness and the jumps. Work Project Architect usual ends up being the revision of this code, anyone miss these patterns. We should not automate the generation of code to prevent this? Should not the programmer to focus on business rules instead of building the skeleton of an application that has no global knowledge?
On the other hand, the success of a project depends not only on their programming. The tests must be constant. It is very important to perform tests from the beginning, from the first classes. You have to perform unit testing, but performance tests and profilings.
The former serve to ensure that any change that disrupts the team does not the work of another, in addition to proving that functionality does what it must. These unit testings should be run periodically, even at night, for a constant monitoring of work and to recover quickly if something has gone wrong.
The performance test are also interesting them at an early stage to avoid choosing technologies or lines of development of high consumption and later be difficult to replace. An interesting alternative or complement to these tests are the prototypes, simulate a real scenario and perform a mini application to stress.
Third, profiling tests can help us to identify bottlenecks bottle of an application, especially when attacking the BDD. Many times we find complex queries that are not easily resolved. These queries, as constructed can have a better or worse result. These tests will identify queries with response times ineffective, and we will correct them, or act on the BDD, adding indexes ...
Finally, the documentation, the great unknown. I am the first documentation does not, and is a great error. Today the wiki, and tools like Trac allow us to have a better vision of the project, code can be directly related documentation and tickets.
tools to help accomplish these tasks? Many: Rational Rose, SVN, Maven , jUnit , Continuum , jProfiler , Trac , Jira, Confluence ... Why not unify them all?
Well, not all, but a few.
The framework we propose (I will announce the project soon opensource) integrates Maven2, pluggins automatic generation of project wizards to facilitate the development eclipse according to patterns, automatic creation of jUnits, documentation. In addition to using SVN, Trac , Continuum and management jProfiler the project.
Not bad, it saves a lot of work, controls that do things well and can focus on business logic. With a little help of developer projects achieve high performance by the technology used, easy to maintain, because they use standard components, consistent, configurable, and scalable, by the nature of the patterns used.
In short: MORE PRODUCTIVITY AND COST LESS

Rural Journey is a portal where you can get information and book all about your holiday in rural Italy.
has a couple of different search options for landscape or geographical maps showing (google maps) with different cottages available. You have a free Guide : Italy is quite large, and in general always tend to think of Rome, Florence, Venice ... But surely there is something else? From this page you can describe what your journey, your goals, your tastes, and how many people are, and try to guide you to the area as you can enjoy.
And finally, not that I have given for rural tourism, much less. This summer I'm going to New York, where the more rural is Central Park, but this is my friend's web Piccinato Martino. Luck!

bloglines Adios, hello Google Reader
Chris Wetherell convinced me the interesting thing about using Google Reader to manage my blogs. I used Bloglines for some months and the truth I was quite happy, but the integration of Google Reader with Gear very interesting to me, so I'll try.
Apparently the reader is very similar to Gmail, so it will be less painful to change. Also supports tags to the posts, thus allowing better management of it. In Bloglines you have to use folders, and the process involves 4 clicks, and the reader, with 2 clicks and one key is enough! (Seems silly, but it is not)
I like it because it also has a simple statistical tool, which reports on the activity of your blogs.
Finally, and as positive in this tool, the search funciona mucho mejor que con Bloglines.
Lo malo es que por ahora no he visto la forma de integrar el blogroll en mi blog. Seguro que existe y es trivial, siempre se puede usar un gadget sino. Lo tendré que investigar
